If only Tommy altered his formula to Plate Mail, Long sword AND helmet.
Always remember the helmet.
Unless it's that helmet that makes you go blind.

Hmm, I don't think Tommy ever wore a helmet, just the heaviest armor he could find and a long sword. Twag always bugged him to carry a freakin' long bow, but he never did listen to me.

Always great to see Tommy again. I had never even thought of him as Kenny before now.

Perhaps if he had rigged up some kind of sword-bow...

A steel-plated banjo...I wonder what kind of tune that would make?
Also, Cyric is dead? Is this comic canon or FR canon? I haven't kept up with FR in a really long time, so I'm out of the loop. Or did the cultist not mean that literally?
Anyway, good job on the prologue. This one looked like it took a lot of work.

Yeah... I thought I was almost done last night and then spent another 4+ hours on it today.
...
As for Cyric, that's comic-canon. It's a somewhat complicated story, contained largely in Delia's character bio. But basically, he attempted a hostile takeover of Ao's supreme overgod spot on Toril, was rebuked by a squadron of heroes, and then used an avatar of Delia in an attempted comeback. He was killed by Bane, under the influence of Jergal, as a part of his aim to recollect his own portfolio of powers.

I liked the new first chapter cover. Especially the tagline on the book. It kind of reminded me of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Speaking of taglines, I also got a chuckle out of the Mercykillers'.
I had to read the comic twice to catch this, but the little picture of a man being hanged behind the Mercykiller was great.
And d**n...what is it with chicks and drow? I swear...

Once upon a time in a comic far, far away, there was a simple, black-and-white series of minimalist sketches with dialog bubbles called "Planescape Survival Guide." I wasn't sure what was going on, and the people were only a step up from stick figures, but it was just so REAL, man! Give me a second here, I always get the shakes when I think about it. OK, OK, I'm better now. Just had my meds, don't y'know. Anyway, what I was getting to was this: One day I brought up the site and noticed something... different. Color? First "Miracle on 34th Street," now Planescape? And little changes, oh yes, little changes. A new prologue now, for instance. Kind of like George Lucas going back and getting rid of the Ewoks song. The Lucas comparison, yes, there it is. Travers Jordan turning into George Lucas! Probably attending little tea parties with Hollywood celebrities, losing touch with the real world, like Lucas did. Pretty soon we'll be finding that T'chick has a high mitoclorian count, or Milny is pregnant without, well... you know. Do You see where this is going? Travers, come back to us, before it it's too late!!!!

Yeah, that's right Trav. Stop trying to improve yourself! Go back to your roots, like Lucas with "Howard the Duck" and "Captain EO!". You've become drunk with your own sense of power, man.

I heard there was going to be a prequel to this comic, that follows the life of Varlan when he was a small, happy child. It won't be out for another 15 years, though.
And as for episode 64, isn't it amazing how plans never seem to go as well in practice than on paper?

Well, I haven't posted here for a while, but I've enjoyed the last few comics. Brought up a lot of memories.
Ahh, yes, awful, ill thought out plans. Seen plenty of those in past games. I swear, I think some people have seen too many movies involving inept guards.
---------
On a side note, now that Tchick seems on the verge of being back in the spotlight, (likely talking with Torin) I am curious if he has yet to use his various eye powers, or if apple bombardment and telekenesis are all he has?
Standard beholder has 10 + the central eye after all. Seems like an interesting possibility.

Actually, Mattice, I've given away four of Tchick's eye powers, though the details of one was only hinted at. Can you find it? His other eyes do do things, though. He has 8 eyestalks, plus the central eye, unlike his kindred. -- On another note, I've had to give what Haakon said a lot of thought. Yes, I'm beginning to understand now. I'm becoming that which I have despised most! A prequel-writing, colorizing, Ted Turner/George Lucas mutant hybrid clone monster! And as such, there is only one thing to do. I must return to the past, wherein lay the true art of pure form. As such, I present a snippet of how the comic will appear from here on: I hope you can all understand this momentous and earth-shattering step. Soon I must go back to all my colorized comics and purify them as well. After all, I actually liked Howard the Duck.

D*mn! Elera iz hawt!
I'm guessing the other two powers of Tchick's are True Seeing and the ability to disguise himself as Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy.
